Z.M. Thomas is a Dakota Mdewakanton Sioux comic creator out of St. Paul, Minnesota, who’s been raising hell in the indie comic scene since 2004 with Trepidation Comics. He. cut his teeth on the horror genre with Echoes of Dawn and Contagion before venturing into satire with Roe vs. Abe and the surprise cult-hit Bible 2 series.

After twenty years, his work continues to span multiple genres—from the irreverent all-ages superhero romp Trash & Can-It: Disposable Heroes, to Sioux Falls, a steampunk western that blends Dakota storytelling with a narrative that honours his roots, and returning to where it all started with his newest release, the cosmic/body-horror series The Biotic Crisis.
